Whilst working at Cassette, we output a campaign for Custom Plates Victoria with our call to action being ‘There’s a plate for everyone’. I learnt so much throughout the process, from the initial concept and pitching stage, being on set for the shoot (including a bit of cheeky background acting) and a the mammoth social rollout.

ASK ME ANYTHING

Jeff Williams was a family friend who previously ran a fruit wine and liqueur distillery, located near Bendigo but moved down to Mornington to live a more comfortable life. He started attending life drawing classes in his spare time and fell in love with painting. He developed his skills despite being in the late stages of muscular dystrophy, a muscle wasting disease he was diagnosed with at 16.

Defying his limitations, his work continues to get better and better. I had always wanted to make a short documentary about Jeff. He has the best charisma and such an interesting past. Even though he isn’t the most experienced artist, his artwork means so much to him and it comes from a special place. Each piece is inspired by some memory or feeling and comes alive when he paints it. Jeff passed away peacefully in March of 2021.

Melbourne Burgers

A couple of friends and I thought it would be fun to go around Melbourne and try the standard burger from the most popular stores and compare what we found. Melbourne is a hot-pot of exciting food combinations and flavours so to go out and explore our city was a fun experience.

The documentary was purely for fun and ever so slightly educational as to what you can expect from each of these burger chains in Melbourne's CBD. Through this experience, Fiona, Maddie and I found ourselves changing our views about our favourite burgers.
